A little bit of background on Corpor@te Facilities Services

Corpor@te Facilities Services (CFS) is a family-run provider of integrated facility management solutions. The challenges

When CFS started using Real-Link, they had a number of matters that they were trying to address. The first of these was employee attendance. They needed a simple way to prove to their clients that employees were where they should be, at the required times.

The Real-Link system easily addressed this by generating real-time data, showing where each employee had been and when they had been there. The system also provided options to record what has been done in each location.

The solution

Clients are even given their own system logon so that they can check this information at any time, providing complete transparency between CFS and their clients. This level of transparency helps to create a positive relationship and avoid disputes about the service provided.

In addition to proving attendance, CFS is using the Real-Link system to counter insurance claims. As well as providing proof that an employee has been at a certain location, CFS also use the Real-Link system to document any issues that they encounter such as trip hazards and the action that was taken.

As many of our customers will already be aware, Real-Link is an excellent tool for providing proof of attendance which also helps to ensure that location-specific checks are performed. Whether you need to see that security guards are performing their patrols when they should be or that cleaners are checking toilets every hour, Real-Link does this effortlessly. In addition to proof of attendance, Real-Link can also be used for data capture such as filling in forms and sending instructions and this can be specific for each location if required.

The majority of our customers use Real-Link with RFID tags that need to be scanned (although it can be used with barcodes or GPS). Once a tag is scanned a menu of options appears on the phone. In a lot of cases, this menu is the same for each location. However, the Real-Link system is easily customisable and different options can appear on the phone for different locations, different types of location and for different people.

If you have different checks that need to be done on each site, this can be programmed into the app. If you need certain checks to be made in outdoors areas but different checks in toilets, this can also be done. If you want the majority of your employees to see one list of options when a tag is scanned, but the supervisors to see another, this can be done. In fact, Real-Link is completely customisable.

DataSIM have become a new SIM card supplier for Nova Epos. The beauty of the DataSIM card is that it has the ability to roam over different networks to find the best signal.

With data roaming activated on the device, the DataSIM can attach to the strongest network. This is a great benefit to our Real-Link customers, particularly in more rural locations where signal strength can be poor, or in built-up areas where signal strength is often patchy.

Providing 10mb of data per month it is an ideal and economical solution for data only needs, such as required for our real time data capture software solutions, with the addition of voice and SMS messaging if required. So far, we have been delighted with the results and our clients who have swapped from expired single network contracts are reporting great connectivity.
